Propane Maintenance & Services
The safety of our customers, employees, and communities is our number one priority. This important safety and preventative maintenance inspection takes approximately 30- 60 minutes. Your system will be inspected for leaks and tested to ensure it meets all applicable safety standards. This involves a check of your entire propane gas system. Upon completion, you can be assured that your system is safe and in good working condition.
HOW TO READ YOUR GAUGE
Your tank will never be at 100%, even right after you get it refilled. To comply with safety regulations, propane suppliers can only fill your tank to approximately 80%. The additional space in the tank leaves space for the liquid propane to expand and contract, which occurs based on external temperatures.
A vital thing to know is the numbers refer to the percentage of propane compared to the size of the tank, rather than gallons. 80% is considered full for a propane tank. Always remember when your propane tank fuel gauge reaches 20%, call us to schedule a refill if you are on the Will Call Delivery plan.

DELIVERY SYSTEM TEST
A system equipment test is required whenever there is an interruption in service. This includes all out-of-gas deliveries. A system is considered to be out of gas when the pressure in the system will no longer support the appliances and pilots. When this occurs, the only way to know that your propane system is operating correctly is through an inspection of the system or a leak test. A qualified service technician will perform one of these safety protocols to ensure that your system is functioning properly.
COMPLETE SYSTEM CHECK
An initial system check is performed for all new installations or when the installation has been transferred from one customer to another. A follow-up check is completed after the regulators, appliance shut-off valves and appliances have been installed and connected to the gas piping. A complete system check will be scheduled with the service department which allows the service tech to test all propane appliances as well as the hookups outside the home.
